So…… not the best time to open a new business! I must say it has been pretty stressful dealing with COVID-19 in the lead up to our opening.
Sadly some of our grand plans (including our planned opening day) had to be cancelled. But, we have to adapt and move with the times, and get on with the job!
Veterinary hospitals are an essential service, so we will be open for business, just a little different from usual.
During this time we have made some changes in order to adhere to COVID-19 Government regulations and most importantly to protect the health and safety of our clients and staff.
These include:
- Only 4 clients to be in the waiting room at any one time – if there are more than 4 clients we ask that you either wait outside the front door, inside your car (please call reception to ‘check in’), or in one of our consult rooms if it is empty.
- Only 2 persons are able to enter the consultation room with their pet at a time
- If you have been unwell or are have any respiratory signs (sneezing, coughing, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath, fatigue, etc) we ask that you do not enter our premises at any time, and you must inform our staff prior to us having any contact with your pet.
- We will be offering face-to-face consultations, but will also be offering contactless appointments, so you can remain in your car (or stand outside) and one of our staff will collect your animal from the car and take them to the vet for what they need. They will be returned to you after their appointment. You can write down any pertinent information or speak to us over the phone during the consultation
- Our ‘kiss & drop’ service will be running as usual (so you can leave your pet with us for the day for their appointment at no extra charge)
- Contactless Home Visits will be available in most circumstances. We will also be running a contactless home pick up/drop off service at reduced rates during this period. Please contact us directly to find out more
- Contactless payment options strongly preferred. Cash payment will be accepted, but not encouraged during this time.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
