Dentistry


Dental disease affects our pets just as much as it does is, and it is equally as important that we prevent and treat dental disease for our pets too. There are proven ‘knock-on’ effects of poor dental health on organ function (including heart and liver), not to mention the damage it does in the mouth and jaw bones. Our hospital has a gold standard, medical grade dental machine with the capacity for performing quality prophylactic dental scale and polishes, simple extractions, complex extractions and major dentals. We can also treat other conditions such as tooth root abscesses, gum trauma, etc.

Pathology & diagnostic testing


Don’t wait for days for test results! The Beaches Vet has an on-site laboratory, that can process samples on the day you visit, and in many cases even whilst you wait. We have a brand new blood testing machine which can run many comprehensive blood tests. We can also perform many urine tests, skin tests and lump checks in-house, and if required we can send samples for additional or more advanced tests to a highly skilled veterinary pathologist/external laboratory.
